South Africa

South Africa is a nation known as much for it’s harsh Apartheid regime of the past as much for its exquisite natural beauty. Gorgeous terrain is supplemented by equally beautiful flora and fauna. It is also one of the main gateways to Africa with Johannesburg’s International Airport.

One of the first things we noticed  in this nation is the extreme tension. Because we haven’t spent a great deal of time in this country we cannot speak to more than that feeling; though it is corroborated by some of the people we’ve met and what’s to be believed on the Internet. What we will share are personal accounts of what we saw, felt and learnt in South Africa while living and working in Maputo, Mozambique .

Please note this is a personal blog about traveling around the world.
