Canada
Toronto in The Great White North has been our “base of operations” since we were married there in 2009. Every time we return the city, it has (or we have) changed a little.
Canada is known for being: the second-largest nation on earth,
very
cold, the best maker of maple syrup, very polite and multicultural. What we like is going around The Greater Toronto Area to see a bit of Canada’s thrilling and vast landscape. We’re particularly fond of camping / cottaging on
Georgian Bay
and hiking parts of
The Bruce Trail
.
This is a
personal
blog about living our life in Canada (when we’re not working abroad).

Marlowe’s not trained in quite a while. He makes the cut this time but finds out the marathon is one kilometer more than he thought. The walk’s getting close and the heat is on!
The last training on the 5th had gone well at just over 7 KPH, but things like street lights and pedestrians had been major obstacles. Also I was wearing runners […]
Marlowe trains for his October 20th walk marathon. With bad shoes and out of shape, Marlowe gets back on the wagon.
Two weekends ago we went to a cottage to chill out with Marlowe’s parents recharging our batteries for a lovely 3,5 days out of the city.
