My Favourite Times in Australia

I’ve been asked quite a few times about my favourite places and tours in Australia, so I figured ending my blogging about Australia should be about my fav places. To me, these places hold something special because of a triangle of personal interests: nature, history and the people.

Heading to Melbourne: Great Ocean Road

In hindsight, I believe I saw and did too much in a very short time because I couldn’t really appreciate the beauty of nature and tried to be invisible during the tour. So here is a slightly negative (and unfair?) blog post about the Great Ocean Road.

Perth to Adelaide

And so I was off, back to Adelaide, again. Loved Fitzgerald River National Park and Cape Le Grand National Park had gorgeous, paradise-like, beaches!

Oz’ Red Centre

Whoo hoo, I spent ten amazing days in the bush and desert! I had such a great time with newly made friends, learned a lot about Aboriginal culture, saw Uluru, smelled and tasted the desert and walked a fair bit. I decided to use Heading Bush for my tour and that was well chosen in hindsight.

Tiny Church of the Good Shepherd

Wonderful Tekapu showcases a blue glacial lake, a lazy atmosphere and a mountainous backdrop with only one building alongside the edge, a small church.
